Advent Vespers
Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center will celebrate the time-honored prayer of Advent Vespers on Tuesday, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 5 to 5:45 pm.
Readings, psalms, and prayers will focus on waiting for the Light. Psalm tones, hymns, and chants will be an integral part of each ecumenical service.
Jo-Ann Iannotti, OP and Marguerite Mullee will lead the service. Sr. Iannotti is a poet, photographer, educator, and Art and Spirituality Cooordinator at Wisdom House. Ms. Mullee is a conductor and singer. She is director of music at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield, CT, artistic director of Naugatuck Community Choir, and music director at Our Lady of Grace Monastery in North Guilford, CT.
A donation will be accepted.
