Weaving A Life

It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility.

Ash Wednesday, 2014

Dust builds on what we've left unattended. The ashes of today become a reminder of our ongoing need to be attentive to the stuff of life that prevents us from seeing God at work in our world and the mercy that's offered to us each day. They are a stark reminder of obstacles that we put up to either impede or delay personal transformation. Let's celebrate this season of Lent living more intentionally along the road, as Jesus did.

Hopefully, we won't side step the Cross, nor miss the Resurrection.
