Artist Hangs Show

The photos show artist Janet McKenzie hanging her show in the Marie Louise Trichet Gallery at Wisdom House. As she finished, three visitors stopped in unexpectedly and were the first to preview the work!

The show "Embracing Transformation: The Journey and the Cross" will be in the gallery until April 25.

 

Ms. McKenzie will give an artist talk on March 28 at 3:30 p.m .based on the exhibit.

New Beginnings Writing Workshop

Davyne Verstandig, lecturer in English and Creative Writing Professor at UCONN Torrington, led a writing workshop at Wisdom House where participants developed works in progress or started new pieces.

Hanging the Show

Staff and volunteers at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish in Hartford help hang Sr. Jo-Ann's photography/poetry exhibit in The Clare Gallery. Present were Catherine Wynn, Nancy Wynn, Sr. Jo-Ann, Tara Kremidas, and Pat Curtis. The title of the show is "Intimate Spirits: Photography and Poetry in Conversation." The exhibit runs from January 19 until March 15, 2015.

The Artist’s Talk with Janet McKenzie that was to be this Saturday, January 10th at 3:30pm has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 28th at 3:30pm.

 

Janet's exhibit, “Embracing Transformation: The Journey  and the Cross,” will still open as planned on Saturday, January 10th at the Marie Louise Trichet Gallery at Wisdom House.
