Memorial Day Retreat

Members of the Greenwich Korean Church enjoyed time for friendship, reflection, and worship during their Memorial Day weekend retreat at Wisdom House.

Bristol Hospital Memorial Service

This year's annual memorial service hosted by Bristol Hospital's Home Care and Hospice was held in St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Bristol, CT.

 

Sr. Rosemarie Greco, DW, was invited to share some reflections on life and death with those attending this Service of Remembrance.

 

 

"The stars have a rich significance for us when we ponder the mystery of life and death and the continuation of life. Stars live and give forth life. They also die and in the dying process, they spread stardust which eventually unites with other stardust and creates a new life.  Life and death continue in what seems to be an endless act of creation.

'You are a child of the universe; no doubt, the universe is unfolding as it should'

Wisdom House on WRCH 100.5 FM

Recently Sr. Rosemarie Greco, DW, and Sr. Jo-Ann Iannotti, OP, were interviewed by Rev. Dr. Shelley Best for the radio program "Rich Answers," which is sponsored by the Conference of Churches of Hartford.

Rev. Best is the director of the Conference of Churches, which has an office is located at 224 Farmington Avenue in Hartford. The program is aired every Sunday morning on WRCH 100.5 FM in the Hartford area.

Armed Force’s Day Labyrinth Walk, Saturday, May 18

On Saturday, May 18, from 10–11:30 am, Veterans, those in active duty, and their friends and family are invited to a free labyrinth walk at Wisdom House.

Guests are invited to meet at the Labyrinth at Wisdom House where a brief introduction will be given. Then, all will be invited to walk the 7–circuit labyrinth that has been on the property of Wisdom House since 1997.
