New feature: Seven-circuit Labyrinth Cookies



This spring and summer, Wisdom House will feature its new Labyrinth Cookie, created by Chef Margaret Jacobs. These  will be served with refreshments after each Labyrinth walk. 
    
The first Labyrinth walk is scheduled for Saturday May 3, 2014, from 10-11:15 am.

It will consist of an introduction to the labyrinth, walking the labyrinth, and a some sharing about the experience. 

Donations of $5 each will be collected on arrival.

The labyrinth at Wisdom House was  opened in 1997 and is the first outdoor labyrinth in Connecticut.  You can also find videos and information about the labyrinth on the website:  www.wisdomhouse.org.

Creating A Mandala




After an introduction to the universal symbol of the mandala, a group of guests were engaged in creating their own mandala during a weekend retreat at Wisdom House the last weekend in February.

Weaving A Life



Creating small amulets in a community of artists became the project for a group of women who participated in a weekend retreat at Wisdom House.

Led by Linda Chidsey of Litchfield, the women worked from special looms designed by Susan Barrett Merrill, author of the book "Weaving a Life."
