Mary Garden at Wisdom House

The Medieval Mary Garden at Wisdom House contains plants named for Mary, Mother of Jesus.  It is arranged in crescent shapes to evoke the crescent moon, upon which Mary is often depicted in art. The plants in the garden are native to Northwestern Connecticut. The Mary Garden was given in memory of Mary McCaffrey Kenel by the Kenel and Skeffington Families.
