This year's annual memorial service hosted by Bristol
Hospital's Home Care and Hospice was held in St. Andrew Lutheran Church in
Bristol, CT.
Sr. Rosemarie Greco, DW, was invited to share some reflections
on life and death with those attending this Service of Remembrance.
"The stars have a rich significance for us when we
ponder the mystery of life and death and the continuation of life. Stars live and give forth life. They also die and in the dying process, they spread
stardust which eventually unites with other stardust and creates a new
life. Life and death continue in what seems to be an endless act of
creation.'You are a child of the universe; no doubt, the universe is unfolding as it should'
(Desiderata).."
