Wisdom House
was saddened to hear of the recent death of Fr. Richard McBrien, a priest of
the Archdiocese of Hartford, former theology professor at the University of
Notre Dame, author, and
widely-syndicated columnist.
Fr. McBrien was one of the leading voices in the
Catholic Church for adapting the results of the Second Vatican Council to the
life of local churches.
In preparation for entering nto the New Millennium, he came to Wisdom
House on February 24, 1996 to give a lecture on "The Once and Future
Church."
