Recently, the
Women's Guild of Sts. John and Paul Parish in Larchmont, NY and the Women's
Guild from St. Augustine's Parish in Larchmont gave this year's Woman of Spirit
Award at a luncheon at the Larchmont Yacht Club.
Sparkill Dominican Sr. Muriel Cooney, OP (left) was
honored for her ministry at St. Augustine's Parish, and Sr. Jo-Ann Iannotti, OP (right) accepted the
award for her community, the Dominican Sisters of Hope, for their service at
Sts. John and Paul Parish over the years. Sr. Jo-Ann served in Sts.
John and Paul from 1969-1974.
