May 1, 2011 marks the 130th Anniversary of the birth of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ, priest, poet, and paleontologist.
He dedicated himself to the study of earth sciences, above all to paleontology, and made distinct contributions to understanding the origins of humanity.The heart of his vision, it is said, is expressed in his book, Building the Earth (Dimension Books,1965).
