Rich Answers: Joseph Colletti and Susan Cunningham

Correspondents for The Conference of Churches on their radio program, "Rich Answers" which airs every Sunday morning from 5:30-6:30 am on WRCH 100.5 FM.

Sr.Rosemarie recently interviewed Joseph Colletti of East Grandby, CT. Mr. Coletti, along with his wife, Louise, are the authors of the book, "Leaving a Spiritual Legacy: Writing a Spiritual Will." The book helps individuals in creating a Spiritual Will which provides people with opportunities to pass on to those they love their values, life wisdom, and experience. Sr. Jo-Ann(R) had the opportunity to interview Sister of St. Joseph Susan Cunningham (L). Sr. Susan is the new director of Jubilee House in Hartford which welcomes people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. As an adult learning center, the three principle program areas at Jubilee House are: 1) Refugee Assistance, 2)the Esperanza Academic Center, and 3) tuition free ESOL instruction. Rich Answers: Nancy Wynn, Director of The Clare Gallery in Hartford

Recently, Sr. Rosemarie Greco interviewed Nancy Wynn, director of The Clare Gallery, located in The Franciscan Urban Center of St. Patrick-St.Anthony Church in Hartford. The gallery is one of many outreaches of the parish, originating in 1829 as Connecticut's first Roman Catholic Church.

The interview was aired as the Wisdom segment of The Conference of Churches radio program, "Rich Answers." The program airs on WRCH 100.5 FM every Sunday morning from 5:30 - 6:30 am. Sr. Rosemarie and Sr. Jo-Ann Iannotti, OP are the Wisdom Correspondents for this program.

Rich Answers: The Catholic Worker House, Hartford

Sr. Jo-Ann Iannott, OP, Wisdom Correspondent for The Conference of Churches, interviewed Jacqueline Allen-Doucot, co-founder of The Catholic Worker House in Hartford.

Rich Answers: Mother Mary Jennifer Carroll, DM, Discuss a Unique New Housing Project


Sister Rosemarie Greco, DW (left) and Mother Mary Jennifer Carroll, DM (right) prepare for an interview on WRCH-FM for the Conference of Churches. Mother Jennifer is the coordinator of a unique $14 million housing project in New Britain, CT and was featured on the front page of the Hartford Business Journal as well as other area newspapers. The project is the conversion of the motherhouse of the Daughters of Mary into affordable HUD housing for senior citizens.

Mother Mary Jennifer Carroll is the superior general of the congregation of the Daughters of Mary. The sisters aren't building a retirement home for themselves - with this project they are able to continue to serve many people. The renovation known as Marian Heights will open in a few months.

Rich Answers: Arthur Miller, Director of the office for Black Catholic Ministries


Sr. Rosemarie Greco recently interviewed Arthur Miller, director of the Office for Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of Hartford, for the program, "Rich Answers" which is aired on Sunday morning on WRCH 100.5 FM. The program is sponsored by the Conference of Churches of Hartford.

The interview covered Mr. Miller's participation in the upcoming program at Wisdom House on February 27, "Peace, the Bible, and Martin Luther King, Jr." He spoke of the Biblical sources of Dr.King's nonviolent peace movement.

Also participating in the Wisdom House program will be Victoria Christgau, the founder and director of the Connecticut Center for Nonviolence. Richard Tarlaian, Kingian Scholar and Senior Trainer for the Center of Nonviolence and Peace Studies at the University of Rhode Island will join Ms. Christgau and Mr.Miller.

Collaborative Center for Justice Airs Sunday, September 27

Sister of Mercy Mary Alice Synkewicz of the Collaborative Center for Justice in Hartford is interviewed by Sister Rosemarie Greco, DW, Wisdom Correspondent for the Conference of Churches' radio program, "Rich Answers."

The program is aired on WRCH, 100.5 FM, Sundays at 5:30-6:30 a.m. The program has a listening audience of 60,000 people. The Wisdom segment is usually aired at 6 am.

The Collaborative Center for Justice, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is a voice to enhance human dignity by responding to injustices experienced by people who are poor and alienated in society. The center does this through advocacy, education, networking and collaboration, guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Catholic social teaching.

In collaboration with St Joseph College, the Office of Urban Affairs of the Archdiocese of Hartford and sponsoring congregations of Women Religious, the center offers programs on Advocacy, Justice, Empowerment for Peace, Welfare reform, Faith and Politics, Human Trafficking, Immigration and Voting for the Common Good.

The supporting congregations of women religious are the Daughters of the Holy Spirit, Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery, Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Sisters of the Congregation of Notre Dame, Daughters of Wisdom, and School Sisters of Notre Dame.
